   Gia Luan ferry terminal is located about 24km from Cat Ba town, travel time by taxi is about 30 minutes. Gia Luan ferry terminal is the connection point of Cat Ba island with Tuan Chau ferry terminal of Ha Long city.
  - In the high season from May to the end of August every year, the ferry terminal departs 5 times/day from Gia Luan ferry terminal at the following times: 09:00 - 11:30 - 13:00 - 15:00 - 16:00.
  - In the low tourist season from September 6th to April 24th every year, the ferry terminal departs 3 times/day at the following times: 09:00 - 13:00 - 16:00.
    You should be at the ferry terminal about 20 minutes before departure to check in and buy tickets. You can buy tickets at the ferry terminal without booking in advance.

   - We provide 4-seat and 7-seat taxi service to pick you up from Cat Ba town to Gia Luan ferry terminal with detailed fares as follows:
    -  380k/ a 4-seat Taxi. (This amount is approximately 15 usd)
    -  450k/ a 7-seat Taxi. (this amount is approximately 18 usd)
   On the car there is mineral water, snacks, free wifi for each passenger, the driver can speak English and is knowledgeable about the local area.   
    *NOTE :  that you should be at the ferry terminal 20 minutes in advance to check in and buy tickets.
