After you book the tour and arrange the departure time and location, we will notify the driver to pick you up and take you to the historical Cannon Fort. Here the driver will walk with you to guide and show you the way to visit the cannon fortress.
The Cannon Fort is an anti-sea artillery battlefield consisting of five 138mm artillery platforms facing five different directions. These 5 sea-facing artillery platforms are located on the top of a mountain 177m above sea level. In addition to these 5 artillery platforms, there is also a system of hidden bunkers, trenches, and ammunition storage facilities built by the French army. Very solidly built with the purpose of protecting the eastern sea of ​​the Gulf of Tonkin of Vietnam, this territory was protected by the French government from around 1890 to 1940. When you come here, you also have a very wide perspective. to look around the Cat Ba town area and see a wonderful part of Lan Ha Bay with hundreds of limestone islands covered with green plants.
After about 50 minutes visiting the Cannon Fort, the driver will take you to the ferry wharf, where the captain will complete the ticket purchase procedure and pick you up on the small boat. From the wharf, the boat will take you to visit Monkey Island in 20 minutes. The island is an island located in Lan Ha Bay, where the sea water is clear all year round. On Monkey Island, there is a beach about 250 meters long with fine white sand and clear blue sea water, which is a great place for you to swim, relax and chat with friends. On the island there is also a road that leads you to a mountain top, from here you can see a beautiful view of Lan Ha Bay. The island is also home to a group of golden monkeys with a number of more than 40 individuals. You can easily see them when you set foot on the island. These naughty monkeys sometimes even take things from tourists. Then run up the mountain because they mistakenly think that the things you brought are edible. So you should be careful with these mischievous monkeys. After visiting Monkey Island, if you want to kayak to freely float on Lan Ha Bay, we will arrange a kayak for you, you have up to 1 hour to swim the kayak and then the captain will pick you up and take you return to Beo wharf.
