Taxi from Cat Bi airport to Cat Ba island

Travel time is about 2 hours. 
* We are currently offering 2 options A and B by private taxi to pick up and drop off guests from Cat Bi airport to hotels on Cat Ba island. Each option will have different prices, please refer to below.

 
* Option A: (taxi - ferry - taxi) 
   The schedule is as follows: once we have confirmed your booking information, we will arrange a taxi to pick you up at Cat Bi airport. We will contact you via Email or WhatsApp to pick you up in the most convenient way. Our driver will pick you up at Cat Bi airport and take you straight to Dong Bai ferry terminal in about 40 minutes, this is where you will take the ferry to Cat Ba island. Here your driver will buy your ferry ticket and help you transfer your luggage to the ferry.  When the ferry takes you to Cai Vieng ferry terminal on Cat Ba island after about 30 minutes, another private taxi driver will be waiting for you there and take you straight to your hotel in Cat Ba town in about 30 minutes.

With option A, the price will be:

   - 4-seat taxi price: 1050k. (this amount is about 42 usd)

   - 7-seat taxi price: 1200k. (This amount is about 48 usd)

* option B: (taxi going straight from Cat Bi airport to Cat Ba island)
    In case you want to book a private taxi going straight from Cat Bi airport to your hotel on Cat Ba island, we will need to buy the ferry ticket for our taxi and you do not need to change to another taxi. With option B, the price will be:
   - 4-seat taxi price: 1300k.  (This amount is about 52 usd)
   - 7-seat taxi fare: 1500k. (This amount is about 60 usd)

* Note:
   - The ferry operates from 05:30 am to 05:30 pm, if you cannot go during the ferry operating time, you only have one option to get to Cat Ba Island, which is by private canoe. Private canoe is a high-speed vehicle that only takes 10 minutes to get you to Cat Ba Island. With this option, we will have to charge you an additional fee of 28 usd.
* Passenger benefits:
   On the car, we serve mineral water, snacks and free wifi for each passenger. The driver speaks English, we are supported by taxi management 24/7.
